A letter from Paul, chosen to preach the word of God to those of little or no faith, to the Loretians
My little sisters in Christ, I bless you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For the betterment of the world, may we learn to live in loving harmony together.
It has come to my attention that many children of your age seem to deny their religion nowadays. I tell you to be proud to be who you are, not ashamed. In biblical times many were persecuted for what they believed in but you are privileged to live in an accepting place. To be able to walk around in public and to tell the world you are a Christian is a wonderful thing that you should take advantage of. On Ash Wednesday, wear your cross proudly, do not rub it off. Come together as a community, be as one.
Another matter that I must urgently counsel you on is vanity. You hold your appearance so dear that it can influence you to do wrong things. You take images of yourselves using these magical communication boxes and send them out to hundreds of people. You are naturally young and beautiful with much more to offer!
Finally, I feel as though the subject of ‘actions speak louder than words’ is a must to talk about to you. The small things that you do to others may seem much bigger to them. Be careful in the way that you treat others so as to not lower their self-esteem or hurt their feelings. People can feel excluded and unloved because of something someone has said to or about them. Even if you don’t think there will be an effect, imagine how others could possibly feel.
I exhort you to take in these words and reflect on your daily lives. Are you a part of these issues and is there something you need to change? May you see the wisdom in my words and act apon them. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
